- The Nature Conservancy Maine Park Ranger
Marcelo Antillanca became a member of the Rangers Team in the Valdivian Coastal Reserve in May 2014, and is the only Marine Park Ranger of the group.
As a native of Huiro, he knows these lands like the palm of his hand. After 13 years working in a fishing company in Puerto Montt, this new responsibility allowed him to return to his family.
Thanks to his knowledge of marine vessels and navigation equipment, he was offered the opportunity to work for TNC.
It is a decision that has made him very happy, because he feels that he can contribute his knowledge to the development of the Valdivia Marine project, which is under development at the coastal border of the Reserve.
